Ali has over twenty four years of diversified professional experience in providing audit, accounting, taxation, business and risk advisory services.

He is a former Chief Internal Auditor of Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund and have also been former Chief Financial Officer of Islamabad Stock Exchange and South City Hospital (Private) Limited.

He has also been associated with the Global Fund Project, Medical Transcription and Billing Company USA, UNICEF and A.F. Ferguson & Co., Chartered Accountants (a member firm of PwC).
He gained expensive experience in the field of audit, accounting, business risk assessment and management, business process optimization, training and capacity building, financial audits, forensic audits and policies and procedures development.

He is a fellow member of the of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy, UK and a baccalaureate of commerce. He is also certified as master trainer by UNICEF for UN’s financial system viz. Harmonized Approach to Cash Transfers (HACT), IPSAS and SAP.
